This recipe is great as you can have it sweet or savoury with all different toppings and fruit.
For 2 people you will need
- 2 Eggs
- 30g Flour
- 25ml Milk
- Pinch of Salt
First you want to separate the yolks and whites into clean, dry bowls.
Mix the yolks with the flour, milk and a pinch of salt, use a whisk and beat for a minute or two to get rid of any lumps.
Then (with a clean dry whisk) whisk the eggs whites to stiff peaks.
Add a spoonful of whites to the yolk mix and give it a good mix. Then fold the rest in slowly using a metal spoon until all is incorperated together.
Heat a non stick pan with some frylight on a low heat, add a large spoonful of mix, I do three at a time, keep a close eye on them and flip after around 2 minutes.
After another couple of minutes they are ready!
This mix makes around 8 pancakes (4 each)… For any slimming worlders these works out at 3 Syns a portion.
Here are a couple of ways I’ve had mine.

These look lovely. Is a portion classed as 4 pancakes so 3 syns for 4 or is it 3 syns per pancake? Xx

3 Syns for 4 pancakes if you get 8 out the quantity of the recipe! So the whole of the recipe is 6 Syns xx
